Therapy that fits
between a meeting
and the school run.

Quiet Hours is a mental-health app built with clinical psychologists, not growth hackers. Text and voice-note therapy with a real, named, licensed therapist — not a chatbot, not a pool. Your therapist is yours, same person, every week. Sessions happen in 20-minute pockets across the week, not in one 50-minute Tuesday slot you have to rearrange your life around.

Good morning ☀ How did the presentation go yesterday? You mentioned the stomach-churn on Tuesday.8:12 AM
It went fine, actually. I used the grounding thing you suggested — the 5-4-3-2-1. Felt silly but it worked 😅8:38 AM

◐ HOW IT WORKS

Four steps,
forty minutes of your day.

01

Take the 12-minute intake

Clinically validated questions (PHQ-9, GAD-7, adult attachment inventory). Designed with Dr. Niamh O'Ceallaigh, Trinity College Dublin. You're not being matched by an algorithm vibing on your zodiac — you're being matched by what therapists actually need to know to help you.

02

Meet three therapists. Pick one.

We shortlist three therapists based on specialism, approach, and availability window. Fifteen-minute free video "vibe check" with each (you don't have to do all three). Keep the one you click with. Change, free, any time in the first 30 days.

03

Therapy on your schedule

Message or voice-note your therapist whenever. Reply windows are 8am–8pm Mon–Sat. One full 45-min video session per week is included on Core and Full plans. Average reply time is 3h 18min. Average session show-rate: 94% (industry average is 61%).

04

Measure, adjust, discharge

Every 4 weeks we remeasure PHQ-9 and GAD-7. You and your therapist see the curve together. If you're not improving by week 12, we escalate — often to in-person care, sometimes to a psychiatrist in our partner network. The goal is to discharge you, not keep you.

◐ OUR CLINICIANS

1,247 therapists,
one rigorously vetted.

Only 7.4% of applicants get onto the Quiet Hours panel. Every therapist is BACP, UKCP, HCPC, or IACP registered; every one has a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience; every one passes our 4-hour clinical interview with Dr. Edwina Malpractice (our Clinical Director) and a supervised case review.

★★★★★

"Saoirse has been my therapist for 7 months. I have tried three in-person therapists in the past decade and quit each one by week 6. The async format means I talk to her when I'm actually in the feeling, not five days later sitting on a sofa trying to remember."

"First time I've ever finished a course of therapy. Week 14 my PHQ-9 was a 4. I'm discharged. Dr. Amir and the app made it possible to fit it around a dissertation and a teenage son."

★★★★★

"What sold me was the outcome paper on the website. I am a data person. I don't book therapy based on vibes. Their 72% recovery vs 46% control, published in JMIR, is rigorous and rare."

◐ FAQ

Practical questions
before you start.

Is this covered by the NHS?

Yes, our Messaging plan is available via NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT) in England & Wales. After self-referral through our intake, we'll submit the referral to your local Talking Therapies service; they'll review and fund care where appropriate. Scotland and NI partners are in pilot — email hello@tilkly.com to check availability by postcode.

What if I'm in crisis?

We are not a crisis service. If you're in immediate danger, please call 999, Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24/7, UK & IRL), or present at A&E. Inside the app, every screen has a red "crisis" button that dials Samaritans in one tap and notifies your therapist. Our therapists are trained in safety planning but cannot respond to crisis situations in real time.

What's your data policy? Is this really private?

Your conversations are end-to-end encrypted and visible only to you and your therapist. We never sell, share, or train models on your messages. Full privacy policy at quiethours.app/privacy. We are registered with the ICO (Z8421004) and comply with UK GDPR + HIPAA. We do not integrate with Meta Pixel, TikTok, or any ad-tech SDK in-app. Period.

Can I change therapists?

Yes, any time, free. In the first 30 days we encourage it — a mismatch is a common, recoverable problem. After 30 days it's still free, but your current therapist gets a courtesy heads-up message (you can opt out). The new therapist does not see your old conversations unless you explicitly share the history.

Is it really a real therapist, not an AI?

Yes. Every reply, every session, is from your named, photographed, registration-numbered human therapist. No AI writes therapeutic content in Quiet Hours. AI is used only for two operational things: triaging support tickets (opt-in), and transcribing your voice notes for your therapist's notes. Neither touches clinical content.

How do I cancel?

In the app, Profile → Plan → Cancel. Two taps. You can cancel in the 14-day free trial with zero charge, or any billing cycle after. Access continues through your paid-up end date. We don't send retention-pressure flows or "wait, here's a discount" — canceling therapy is your decision, not ours to negotiate with.
