Barbell Club
Linear periodization on squat, bench, deadlift, press. Written each Sunday by Coach Diaz. Track every rep in the app. This is how 142 of our members hit a new 1RM in 2025.
Ironhouse is a 9,400 sq ft strength & conditioning gym on East 6th. We run small-group barbell and metcon classes, one-on-one coaching, and a 24/7 open gym. No mirrors on every wall. No influencer playlists. No shakes for sale. Just rusted plates, hungry people, and coaches who know your name.

Strength-biased conditioning. Kettlebells, sleds, rowers, assault bikes, occasionally a sandbag and a bad idea. 45 minutes, in and out, never the same workout twice.
Pair with a coach, 1 session a week, $120 ea. We build your program, you text us between sessions, we adjust. For folks with a specific goal or a stubborn injury.
You have the programming, you just need the bar. Members get 24/7 keycard access to the whole floor, every bar, every plate, every machine. Lifts at 4am welcome.
Our newest coach has been on the floor two years. Our most senior has been here nine. Every coach programs their own sessions, and every member can name all of them by week two.
CSCS, USAW L2. Former 181 lb raw powerlifter, 1,480 lb total. Owns the gym. Writes Sunday programming. Will tell you to eat another burrito.
Precision Nutrition L1, FRC. Ex-college rower, now coaches our 5:30 & 6:30pm metcons. Mobility class Thursdays is secretly where the gains happen.
NSCA-CPT, former high-school football coach. Runs the Saturday community WOD. Knows every member's dog's name. Probably your dog's too.
USAW L1, Starting Strength Coach. Pulled 720 lb at Nats last year. Runs Saturday strongman. Screams "ONE MORE" in a voice you'll hear in your dreams.
Cancel any time inside the app. No "come in and sign this form" nonsense. No 12-month sign-up specials. One price, same for everyone.
"I'd bounced through four gyms in two years. Ironhouse is the first place I've stuck. The programming is real, the coaches know me, and nobody tries to sell me a cleanse. Hit a 405 deadlift in September — first time in my life."
"I came in 52 years old, two hip replacements, terrified. Amaru built me a program I could actually do. 18 months in, I squat 225 for five, pain-free. My orthopedist literally asked me for the gym's phone number."
"Joined for vanity. Stayed for the community. My partner lost 22 lb in his first four months here. I gained 14 lb of muscle. We spend every Saturday morning at the community WOD. It's the best money we spend every month."
Unlimited classes and open-gym access for 14 days. No credit card. No sign-up fee. No sales call. If you like the place, you join. If you don't, no hard feelings. We'll still say hi at Tacodeli.
