The Iron Works is a 640-capacity standing venue in a converted steelworks on Attercliffe Road, Sheffield. Since 1998 we have put 4,820 bands on our stage — Arctic Monkeys in 2004, Wet Leg in 2022, and every touring act worth the drive in between. 98% of shows sell out. We do not do VIP.

1,820 m² of converted blast-furnace hall on Attercliffe Road. Thirty-foot ceilings, seven steel girders, one stage (6.8m × 4.2m, 1.1m deep), a d&b audiotechnik Y-series PA with an MLA stack for shows over 500, and a bar on both sides so you never queue longer than a song.

384 Attercliffe Road, Sheffield S9 3QS
Tram: Attercliffe (6 mins walk, Supertram Yellow). Train: Sheffield (18 mins, taxi £9). Car: 180 spaces in the Attercliffe Common NCP, £6 after 18:00.
02 · DOORS & TIMES
Doors usually 19:00 or 19:30 — check your ticket. Curfew is 23:00 on weekdays, 23:30 Fri/Sat. The main bar runs until 00:30 on show nights (last entry 22:00).
03 · THE HOUSE RULES
Be decent. Ask before you film in someone's face. Mosh if the song asks for it, look out for who you hit. We have zero tolerance for anyone being a bastard — find Carl or any staffer in a yellow lanyard.
04 · FOOD & DRINK
Pint £5.20, soft drinks £3.00, free tap water at the back bar. Pizza truck (Greenside Slice) in the yard from 18:30 most show nights. Cashless site. We top-up the charity box at the door for Music Venue Trust.
